My Passion
My name is Antonella and Miamiao is my hand-sewn dream.
Born from the memories of the women in my family who made clothes for their babies and from my passion for drawing and craftsmanship, cultivated since I was a child.
In my workshop nestled in the Modica countryside, the heart of Sicilian tailoring tradition, I create items for newborns and early childhood with care and love, always considering the comfort and delicate touch every child deserves.
I combine tradition and innovation, carefully selecting natural materials and fabrics from the finest Italian and international suppliers. I use traditional sewing machines, modern embroidery machines, and vintage embroidery machines to create each piece with high-quality, precise artisanal techniques.
My workshop is Miamiao's home, where every detail is meticulously crafted to ensure unique, handcrafted products created with passion to accompany the sweetest first moments of your little ones' lives.

Craftsmanship and the choice of fabrics

In my workshop, I create each piece entirely by hand, paying meticulous attention to every detail to ensure quality and precision. I use advanced embroidery and sewing technologies, but every step of the process is artisanal and personally supervised by me, from start to finish.
I carefully select natural and delicate fabrics, such as cotton in all its varieties, bamboo terry cloth, and muslin, because I know how important it is for newborns' sensitive skin to feel only the best. I favor soft and comfortable materials, avoiding embroidery or stiff patches that could be uncomfortable in everyday use.
Some of the fabrics I use are available in limited quantities, making some creations truly unique. I always strive to keep availability updated on the website and to respect production and shipping times, to offer a reliable shopping experience.
With my garments, I want to give you beautiful, comfortable products designed to accompany your baby in his first months, lasting over time with love and care.
Original Designs and Customizations
Miamiao's designs tell unique stories, just like every baby upon their arrival. Each piece holds sweet memories and small gestures to cherish over time.
I create most of the embroidery myself, drawing inspiration from nature, the countryside, and my cats, with a touch of cheerfulness and tenderness.
I offer the possibility of personalising each item with custom embroidery: names, dates or special words, carefully crafted to make each piece truly unique.
